The EOS Model: A Blueprint for Xedea’s Business Efficiency and Competitive Success

What is EOS?

Running a business today isn’t easy, is it?

You’re probably juggling inefficiencies, struggling to keep everyone aligned, and facing competitors who seem to move faster every day.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

At Xedea, we get it. That’s why our company uses the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Model to run our operations and manage our people.

This is to ensure that Xedea can deliver you maximum results, and even exceed your expectations.

In fact, we were officially recognised by EOS as the first company in Malaysia to be using the EOS framework (see our badge below).

What Is The EOS Framework?

The EOS Model isn’t just another business framework.

It’s a practical, proven system that can help companies like yours achieve clarity, alignment, and efficiency.

As of 2023, over 257,000 companies worldwide have implemented EOS in their own business operations.

Here’s how EOS works.

The EOS Framework consists of 6 key components: Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process and Traction.

1. Vision

In EOS, the Vision component is defined as a clear and shared direction for the company.

It aligns everyone in the organisation towards common goals.

Vision helps answer key questions like: “Where are we going?” and “How will we get there?”

Imagine the power of having everyone aligned and pulling in the same direction.

For example, at Xedea our core purpose is to make the world a better place.

Our people are passionate about making an impact in marketing.

So we channel our people’s passion for marketing into our client’s products and services to achieve the vision of a better world.

How does this benefit you?

Did you know that a HUGE 65% of all SMEs in Malaysia are having problems getting relevant leads from their marketing campaigns?

If you’re one of them, you’re in the right place. We want to help businesses like yours achieve greater marketing results!

This strongly matters to us because without leads and sales, your business will eventually go bankrupt!

Here’s the promise we’ve made to our clients resolve this issue:

To help our SEO and SEM clients achieve the following results in their campaigns:

  • SEO Results: 1st Page Rankings on Google in 3 months

  • SEM Results: Bare minimum 20 conversions per month

Our business has a clear vision. Most marketing agencies in Malaysia do not have a clear vision, other than bringing in sales for themselves.

Speaking from experience:

  • We noticed when everyone on our team understands and buys into our vision.

  • We notice a shift—projects will become purpose-driven, and campaigns will deliver better results.

For SMEs in Malaysia, like yourself, this can be the game-changer you’ve been waiting for.

2.
People

We use the People component in EOS to manage our staff.

This means we ensure they are the right people in our company, and they are also in the right seats/job position.

This component focuses on building a strong team with clear roles and responsibilities.

It also aligns talent with the company’s core values and goals.

We determine if they are the right person by evaluating them based on their ability to deliver results for your marketing campaigns.

And we also determine if they are in the right seat/job position by assessing them based on this criteria:

  • Get It: They need to understand/get the complete scope of their contractual work.

  • Want It: They must also want/are passionate about what they do in their work.

  • Capacity: Lastly, they must have the capacity to do the work that is given to them, and possibly even take on more work and responsibilities than that.

The People component of EOS helps us ensure that we hired the correct people.

And that they are in the correct job position to execute your marketing campaigns to deliver results.

If they are not the right person for your marketing campaign, we will switch them with another Marketer most suited to your business needs.

3. Data

The Data component in EOS helps provide a measurable, objective way to track performance.

This replaces subjective opinions from people, with actual and factual insights taken from your marketing campaign data.

So that we can use key metrics in the campaign to drive accountability and decision-making.

We will even provide you with an L10 Spreadsheet that tracks the scorecard of your campaign results (see table below).

So that you can question our marketers at any point of time if the campaign results do not look satisfactory to you.

And we will hold a monthly review meeting with you to discuss the results of your campaign in greater detail.

And also discuss possible future action plans to drive greater campaign results!

Curious to learn what the L10 Spreadsheet looks like? You can download it below.

Other than that, we have a dedicated Client Servicing Team for each of our clients.

Our servicing team will be in touch with you via WhatsApp, email or even in-person meetings when needed.

4. Issues

Every business has issues, but it’s how you address them that counts.

The EOS Model gives us a simple, yet effective framework, to help identify, discuss, and solve your marketing campaign’s problems.

How does this work?

Well, the EOS model prioritises resolving issues at its root cause, instead of surface-level symptoms.

It also promotes open communication and proactive problem-solving during meetings.

Our departmental teams will meet up at least twice a month to discuss and analyse issues within our department and our client’s individual campaigns.

This is to ensure that our operations are highly efficient and we are fixing any loopholes in our system.

We also strictly monitor underperforming campaigns during our departmental meetings to ensure your campaign results are never below the bar.

That is because we want to make the world a better place, and that starts with you getting the results you are satisfied with.

5. Process

The Process component of the EOS Model is all about simplifying each department’s core business processes.

At Xedea, we have 3 core departments that provide services to our clients, they are the:

  • SEM / Paid Ads Department

  • SEO Department

  • Organic Social Media Department

The EOS Model also requires all core processes from all 3 departments above to be:

  • Documented

  • And followed by all at Xedea

Early in 2024, we have built a standardised core process to ensure our workflow is tidy and efficient.

This creates consistency and efficiency across all our operations from a bird’s eye view.

And it helps you as our client, to understand how we work and why certain tasks may take time.

We do not want to leave you in the dark like certain agencies in Malaysia about why a timeline is dragging.

We will explain our processes to you clearly so that you know what to expect, and when to expect the work to be completed.

In the long-run, this helps us to ensure scalability by standardising key workflows for your business.

6. Traction

Traction is the final component of the EOS Model.

It focuses on execution and ensuring that your business’s goals are achieved.

It represents the discipline and accountability required to turn your company’s vision into reality.

Traction is where strategic plans, vision, and goals are executed effectively by everyone in the organisation.

This is because Traction focuses a lot on disciplined execution of plans and strategies.

And it translates long-term goals into actionable short-term priorities. There is a term for this in EOS, it’s called ROCKS.

ROCKS basically refers to a huge departmental task that the department will undertake throughout a quarter of the year.

We usually save our ROCKS for upskilling and refining our digital marketing deliverables and offerings to make your experience with us better.

That’s why we measure our traction as well, because we want to track consistent progress, that points us towards achieving your business objectives.

Conclusion

The EOS Model isn’t just a framework — it’s the key we use in our company to unlock your business’s marketing potential.

By focusing on the core components of EOS (Vision, Data, Process, Traction, Issues and People), we help businesses like yours achieve alignment, efficiency, and success.
